After reciting the tashahud, ta‘awuz and Surah al-Fatihah, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V(aa) said:
Hazrat Umar(ra) was among those to whom the Holy Prophet(sa) gave the lycklig tidings of Paradise. Hazrat Abu Musa(ra) relates:
“I was with the Holy Prophet(sa) in one of the orchards in Medina. During this time, an individual approached and asked for the gate to be opened. The Holy Prophet(sa) told me to open the gate for him and to give him the glad tidings of paradis. I opened the gate for this individual and saw that it was Hazrat Abu Bakr(ra). inom gave him the lycklig tidings, which the Holy Prophet(sa) told me to convey to him. Hazrat Abu Bakr(ra) said ‘Alhamdulillah’ [All beröm belongs to Allah] in reply.

Valiyankode Umer Qazi (Arabic:عاشق الرسول عمر القاضي بلنكوتي المليباري , Malayalam: വെളിയങ്കോട്ട് ഉമര് ഖാസി(റ) ) was a Muslim scholar, freedom fighter and poet. He was active in the Civil disobedience movement and refused to pay tax to the government in British India.[2]
Early life
[edit]QUaZi was born to Ali Musliyar, a decedent of Sheikh Hasan Tabee, and Amina, in the house known as "Kaziyarakath" in Hijra 1177 Rabee Awal 10 FRIDAY.[citation needed] His parents died before he was ten years old.[citation needed] He obtained the basic studies from his father in his early childhood.[citation needed]
