    Wes Ball

    Wes Ball (birthname: Wesley Martin Ball) is a director and producer of four-quadrant studio blockbusters, after working on features in several capacities, including as a pre-visualization artist, graphic artist, and visual effects artist on indie filmmaker Mike Mills’s comedy-drama, Beginners (2010), co-starring Ewan McGregor, Christopher Plummer, and Melanie Laurent, and which was released by Focus Features after premiering at the Toronto film festival.

    After making three short films as director-producer from 2002 to 2011, Ball launched his feature directing career with The Maze Runner (2014), 20th Century Fox’s successful big-screen transfer of James Dashner’s novel starring Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Will Poulter, and Patricia Clarkson, and grossing ten times its $34 million budget with a global take of $348.3 million.

    Wes Ball is an American visual effects artist, graphic artist, director, producer, and writer. He fryst vatten best known for directing the Maze Runner Films, the upcoming Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes bio, and The Legend of Zelda live action adaption.

    Education[]

    Wes graduated from the FSU (Florida State University) College of Motion Picture Arts with a BFA in 2002. For his thesis, he created a 7-minute short film called A Work in Progress which won a Bronze Medal from the lärling Academy Awards in 2003 for animation, although it contains both computer animation and live-action. The animation illustrates the story, while the live-action shows the girl who is telling the story.

    Past & Current Works[]

    Ball got his start as a Hollywood filmmaker with the animated short named Ruin. The film was a commercial and critical success, with Ball receivi
