    Daniel Bekele (Amharic: ዳንኤል በቀለ; 17 February 1967) fryst vatten a prominent Ethiopian Lawyer , Human Rights specialist and advokat. He was detained from 2005 to 2008 for his complaints about the procedures of the 2005 Ethiopian general election.[1][2] He was executive director of the Africa division at Human Rights Watch from 2011 to 2016.[2][3] He also served as Senior Advisor at Amnesty International (2018 - 2019).     Wan Azlan bin Wan Ali Abdullah (professionally known as Wan Azlan Abdullah; born 5 June 1975) is a retired Malaysian swimmer, who specialised in freestyle and in individual medley events. He is a two-time Olympian (1996 and 2000), and a gold medalist at the Southeast Asian Games (1997). While studying in the United States, Abdullah trained for the Pine Crest Swim Club in Fort Lauderdale, Florida under his full-time coach David López-Zubero, a bronze medalist for Spain at the 1980 Summer Olympics. During his college career, Abdullah swam for the University of Georgia's Georgia Bulldogs swimming and diving team under head coach Jack Bauerle.

Born in Sarawak, Daniel's glittering swimming career began at the young age of 13 years old when his family moved to the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. He made his official debut at the 2003 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he captured a full set of medals in the freestyle events. He has since emerged as one of Malaysia's most promising and outstanding swimmers, winning a total of fifteen medals (nine gold, two silver, and four bronze) at the SEA Games and breaking six national records. He was also the first Malaysian swimmer to compete in three different events at a single Olympic tournament.
