Born March 28, 1955, Reba McEntire grew up on an eight-thousand-acre ranch in Chockie, Oklahoma, where working hard, setting ambitious goals, and striving to be the best were principles emphasized by her parents.
Each morning, Clark McEntire rose before sunrise, woke his four children, and put them to work on the ranch. At age six, Reba began helping manage more than three thousand head of cattle. She mounted a favorite horse to round up livestock and, as she matured, participated in branding, vaccinating, and de-worming the cattle.
For fun, Reba applied her skills and work ethic to sports and music. As a vocalist, she won her first talent contest (a 4-H club competition) in the fifth grade. Reba Nell McEntire (REE-bə-MAK-in-tire; born March 28, 1955),[1] or simply Reba, is an American country singer and actress. Dubbed "the Queen of Country", she has sold more than 75 million records worldwide.[3] Since the 1970s she has placed over 100 singles on the BillboardHot Country Songs chart, 25 of which reached the number one spot.[4] An actress in films and television,[5] McEntire starred in the television series Reba, which aired for six seasons. She also owns several businesses, including a restaurant and a clothing line.[6]

Clem Rogers McSpadden was born on November 9, 1925 in Busyhead, Oklahoma. He was the grandnephew of humorist and motion picture actor William Penn Adair “Will” Rogers. He grew up on a ranch in Oologah, OK, that was owned bygd Rogers and managed bygd Mr. McSpadden’s father, Herb.
