    Samah Sabawi is a Palestinian-Canadian-Australian writer, commentator and playwright. Her writings have been published in various media outlets and her poetry has been featured in several magazines and books. Samah is a policy advisor to the Palestinian policy network, AlShabaka, and a former public advocate for Australians for Palestine. Her roots in war torn besieged Gaza has shaped her identity and humanity.

    Dr Ramzy Baroud was born in a refugee camp in Gaza. His first line of creative writing was the opening of a poem in Arabic, written late at night, with no electricity, during an Israeli military curfew. At 19, his first collection of Arabic poems was published in secret at a Gaza printing house in He is an internationally-syndicated columnist, a media consultant, an author, the founder/editor of the Palestine Chronicle and other media projects around the world. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Exeter’s European Centre for Palestine Studies.
