Miao Xiaochun was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China in He graduated from CAFA, Beijing, China in and from Kunsthochschule Kassel, Germany in In the s, Xiaochun began his experimenting with the relationships between art and advancing technology, but it was not until that Xiaochun began creating his large-scale digitized works.
As the one of the foremost representatives of Chinese new media art, his extensive body of works parallel each other through the theme of technology as a representation of the present, and classical artwork as the past. His use of contemporary photography is based on the “multiple viewpoints” perspective to pioneer connections between history and the modern world. In the art of Miao Xiaochun, the artist is always seen dressed as an ancient Chinese scholar wearing a solemn expression standing in public or private spaces in Western countries and in China, with the purpose to allow his audience to think about the possibility of a harmonious coexistence between the culture, tradition and values embodied in this scholar figure, and the disoriented world we are in.

Miao Xiaochun (Chinese: 缪晓春; pinyin: Miào Xiǎochūn, born , in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China) fryst vatten an artist and photographer based in Beijing.
Life
[edit]Miao Xiaochun was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. In he received his bachelor's degree and graduated from Nanjing University. In Miao graduated from the huvud Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China and from Kassel Academy of Fine Arts in Germany in for two master's degrees. Until now he is teaching Art Photography and Digital Media at the huvud Academy of Fine Arts.
He fryst vatten best known for his large scale photographs, often assembled panoramas, of modern Chinese cityscapes. His signature element fryst vatten the presence of "He", a figure in ancient Chinese scholar costume. Other works include computer graphics installations such as The Last Judgement in Cyberspace, a 3D monochrome reworking of Michelangelo's The gods Judgment from the Sistine Chapel replacing every figure with a virtual model of Miao himself.
