Nathan Joel Foley (born 27 September 1979) is an Australian singer-songwriter and television personality. He was an original member of Australian children's musical group Hi-5 from 1998 to 2008.
Early life
Foley started singing professionally at 10 years old with bands singing Jazz, Soul, R&B, Pop and Rock in clubs in Sydney, Australia. Nathan Joel Foley (born 27 September 1979, in Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian musician, singer, performer and former member of Australian children's entertainment group Hi-5.
Life and career
Nathan started singing professionally at 10 years old with bands singing jazz, soul, R&B, pop, and rock. During his school years, Foley performed in the Schools Spectacular for seven years and graduated from the Talent Development Project in 1997. In 1998, Nathan joined as the original member of the children’s show Hi-5, and subsequently performed with the group for the next 10 years.
As a solo artist, Nathan has produced and written an album Discovery and two singles Live Your Life and Say You Will. He recently remastered an album recorded when he was 10 years old called Good Times and also recorded a live album Nathan Foley Live At The Starlight.

Nathan Foley (born 8 September 1985) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Foley was drafted by Richmond using pick 3 in the 2003 AFL Rookie Draft, from the Geelong Falcons. He made his debut in Round 10, 2005 against the Melbourne, in a match well remembered for the horrific broken leg sustained by Tigers' star Nathan Brown.
In 2007, Foley had a break-out season, establishing himself as one of the AFL's best on-ballers. He was selected in the squad of 40 for the All-Australian team, but missed out when the official 22-man team was released in September 2007. He was runner-up in the Jack Dyer Medal count, polling only one vote behind Matthew Richardson.
In 2008, Foley was named as Richmond's deputy vice captain along with Chris Newman.
Foley retired in August 2015 citing a degenerative knee
