Sadik Mohammed Symon (born 30 August 1985), popularly known as Symon Sadik, is a Bangladeshi spelfilm actor, assistant director, lyricist, model and politician. His films are predominantly in Dhallywood cinema. He made his debut in as a lead role in the Bangladeshi film Ji Hujur (2012) and he won Bioscope Borsho-Sera Awards for Best acting in Poramon (2013). He also won Bangladesh National spelfilm Award for Best Actor for his role in the bio Jannat (2018).
On 20 January 2024, Sadik resigned from his position as joint general sekreterare of the Bangladesh rulle Artistes' Association.

Wasim’s first death anniv today
Today is the first anniversary of the death of popular actor Wasim.
Symon Sadik, joint general secretary of the BFAA, said that Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association will observe the actor’s death anniversary organising a doah mahfil on Bangladesh Film Development Corporation premises.
‘We will organise a doah mahfil marking the first anniversary of the death of Wasim at the BFDC,’ said Symon Sadik.
Mesbahuddin Ahmed, who was popularly known as Wasim, was born on March 23, 1947. He passed matriculation examination from Mymensingh Zilla School and intermediate examination from Ananda Mohan College in Mymensingh. He completed his BA and MA from Dhaka University.
He was crowned as Mr East Pakistan for bodybuilding in 1964. He started his career in the film industry as an assistant director of the film Chhando Hariye Gelo in 1972. He made his acting debut with the film Rater Por Din in 1973. He acted opposite Babita in the film, which was directed

Symon Sadik resigns from Film Artistes’ Association
Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Film Artistes' Association, actor Symon Sadik has resigned from his position today. The president of the association, Ilias Kanchan, has accepted his resignation through an official letter.
In the resignation letter, the actor mentioned, "I, Symon Sadik, the elected Joint General Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Film Artistes' Association, have diligently fulfilled my duties as per the assigned responsibilities. However, recently, I was disheartened and disagreed with some decisions and policies taken by the association. The inactivity of the executive committee in the face of the controversial situation arising from the import of foreign-language films under the SAFTA agreement, which poses a threat to the local film industry and sparks debates in the context of the release of foreign films, is not acceptable to me."
The actor further stated that his featurette film "S
