Consulting for students from Education USA, Armenia
On the initiative of ASUE Students' Council Committee of Foreign Relations today the ASUE students hosted Shushanna Abovyan - the representative of Armenian office of the American Councils for International Education ACTR / ACCELS and a consultant of Educational Advising Center “Education USA”, Armenia. During the open class, she introduced the opportunities of higher education in the United States.
"We are ready to provide students with detailed information and
advice on US bachelor, master's, and post-graduate education applying and admission procedure. We brought supporting materials, books, magazines, standardized tests samples and are ready to answer their questions", – said Shushanna Abovyan during the conversation with ASUE Media and Public Relations Division. She also added that their office has carried out dozens of US government-sponsored programs, which are regularly ran by various American university officials.

Les dones a Armènia han gaudit de la igualtat de drets, incloent el dret de vot, des de l'establiment de la Primera República d'Armènia (1918-1920). El 21 i 23 de juny de 1919, es van celebrar les primeres eleccions directes parlamentàries a Armènia sota el sufragi universal: totes les persones majors de 20 anys tenien dret a votar, independentment del gènere, ètnia o creences religioses. En la legislatura de 80 escons, encarregada de fixar la fundació de l'Estat armeni, hi havia tres diputades: Katarine Zalyan-Manukyan, Perchuhi Partizpanyan-Barseghyan i Varvara Sahakyan.[1][2]
La constitució de l'actual República d'Armènia va ser adoptada el 1991 i garanteix oficialment la igualtat de gènere.[3] Això ha permès a les dones participar activament en tots els àmbits de la vida armènia. Les dones armenies han assolit protagonisme en entreteniment, política i altres camps.
